Niue: Nikola Tesla - Master of Lightning $1 Silver 2023 Proof is the second coin in the "Nikola Tesla" series dedicated to the life and work of the genius inventor Nikola Tesla. The scientist studied mathematics and physics. He studied electricity and discovered the principle of alternating current.
The piece was minted from pure ore Ag.999, weighing 31.1 grams, diameter 37 mm, in the proof standard. The product has a circulation of only 1,500 pieces.
This unique piece was designed by Asamat Baltaev, DiS. and produced by the Czech Mint, as well as being the official currency in Niue. The coin has a guarantee as to the legality, purity of the ore and the origin of the metal.
The obverse of the coin is decorated with the coat of arms of Niue and a flying saucer, the inscription "NIUE ISLAND" and the face value and year of the coin.
The reverse shows the image of Nikola Tesla. On the reverse there is an inscription "MASTER OF LIGHTNING".
