The Premium Bullion Coin was struck by the nzm from one ounce of 99.9% silver and is dedicated to Aquaman™. It is the fourth release in the DC Comics™ Bullion Coin Series featuring the famous superheroes of the DC universe. The motive features a depiction of Aquaman™, whose leap out of the water creates ripples. To his right is the iconic Aquaman logo. The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "TWO DOLLARS", "ELIZABETH II", "2022" and "NIUE".

Known by his real name Arthur Curry™, Aquaman™ made his first appearance in 1941. Since then, not only has his appearance increasingly changed, but his backstory has also been constantly expanded and revised. Although sometimes ridiculed for his ability to communicate with sea creatures, the son of a lighthouse keeper and an Atlantean princess is one of the most important superheroes in the DC universe. With the oceans, he commands an empire that encompasses three-quarters of the Earth's surface, along with all the creatures that live in it. Additionally, he has telepathic abilities and can move extraordinarily fast in the water.
