Since 1935, DC, part of Warner Bros. Discovery, has been creating iconic characters and enduring stories, and is one of the world's leading publishers of comics and graphic novels. DC's creative work entertains audiences of all generations around the world with DC stories and characters.

In 2025, to celebrate 90 years of DC COMICS, Monnaie de Paris is honoring the iconic characters of the DC COMICS Universe. From Batman, the Dark Knight, to Superman, the Man of Steel, including Wonder Woman, the Amazon Warrior, Catwoman and mythical villains such as the Joker and Harley Quinn, are all represented on the coins.

This exceptional collection of gold and silver coins in precious metal is inspired by the comics and features the superheroes and super-villains of DC COMICS. Each coin captures the essence and super-power of these iconic characters thanks to detailed engraving and intense colors, and will transport you into this legendary universe.

As an orphan growing up on the streets of Gotham City, Selina Kyle became a thief to survive. After perfecting her skills as a cat burglar, she now wears a cat suit to steal from the corrupt and rich as Catwoman. Unlike most criminals, Catwoman walks the line between good and evil with occasional acts of heroism between heists.

Catwoman is a master martial artist and acrobat. As stealthy as a ninja, she’s also an expert at breaking and entering. Her bullwhip is her main weapon, alongside claws she uses to scale buildings and scratch enemies. She also flirts with her opponents to distract them—especially Batman.

The reverse of the €10 coin shows the face value surrounded by two branches, one of oak, the other of laurel, evoking the Euro symbol. The entire reverse design is framed by ‘République Française’ and a series of lines representing the Hexagon.
